Todays Fun Fact Friday is all about the amazing goat!!
These powerhouse animals bring very unique value to any farm or ranch. For instance…did you know that goats prefer eating weeds over grass or alfalfa? When grazing goats you will notice that their food of choice will usually be Sting Weed or Thistle. The skin in their mouths are thick and tough so that when eating these types of weeds it doesn’t cause any damage to their mouth.
So if you have weed issues…buy a goat (or two)! They make great lawn mowers and double as great pets!
