An ole west tradition that we are proud to carry on is driving our cattle home on horse back every year. We’ve had cattle drives for the past 4-5 years and at this point our cattle have the drill down. I think if we would just open up the gates they would walk themselves home. I will admit the cattle drives would be even more fun if we had some rodeo action here and there but our cows are just to well behaved to for that! It is still a good time though, and it is a great way to get some good horse training in!

In any job it’s always nice when you can mix fun and work together…lucky for us ranching is (for the most part) fun work! Days like these are no exception!

10 miles and 5 saddle sore ranchers later and we have our cows are home safe and sound!
