Recipes from Minnetonka Family Chiropractic Customer appreciation afternoon:
4 Cups diced pastured chicken
1/2 cup grapeseed oil veganaise
1/3 cup organic raisins
1/4 cup grated organic carrot
1/4 cup shredded cabbage (we prefer purple cabbage)
1/3 tps organic garlic powder
1/2 tsp organic minced onion
(taste test: adjust salt and garlic in needed)
When roasting chicken we like to dice 1 stalk celery, 1/2 small onion, and peel and section 1/2 an orange tossing in a small bowl with 1 TBLS organic coconut sugar and rosemary then put it in the cavity of bird.
season outside of bird with favorite seasonings. We like rosemary, garlic powder, and salt.
Crock-pot Chef Pot Roast
Place frozen or thawed 100% grass fed roast in crock pot and
add 2 cups filtered water.
(Based on the size of the roast seasoning amounts will vary.) Sprinkle a nice dusting of these seasonings over the roast:
organic granulated garlic
bay leaf (optional)
We place crock pot on low overnight.
If you work outside the home, you can turn it down to the warm setting in the morning and it will be ready when you walk in the door from work.
Remove roast abd strain juice into saucepan, then bring to boil and thicken with an organic non GMO corn starch or arrowroot slurry.
