A Year to Remember at K Creek Ranch

As we look back on this past year at K Creek Ranch, one word keeps rising to the surface: gratitude.

It has truly been a year full of growth, connection, celebration, and reflection. From the land beneath our boots to the people who walk alongside us, this year reminded us why we do what we do—and who we do it for.

One of the greatest joys of the year was reconnecting with longtime customers who have supported us through the seasons. Seeing familiar faces, hearing your stories, and sharing updates about the ranch filled our hearts more than you know. Just as special was meeting new customers—people who care deeply about where their food comes from and who believe, as we do, in stewarding the land with intention and integrity. Those conversations fuel us and remind us that this work truly matters.

On the home front, our hearts are overflowing with excitement as our family prepares to welcome two new babies in the coming months—one arriving in February and another in May. There is something incredibly grounding about new life on the horizon. It’s a beautiful reminder that everything we do today—how we care for the land, the animals, and each other—is really about the generations to come.

This year also brought a tender goodbye. We said farewell to our first cattle dog, Shep, who passed away peacefully at the remarkable age of 17. He was a constant presence on the ranch for many years—steady, loyal, and always nearby. Losing him left a quiet space that’s hard to describe. Yet his long, healthy life stands as a testament to something we deeply believe in: real, clean nourishment matters. Not just for people, but for the animals who share our lives and our land.

As the year comes to a close, we’re reminded that ranch life is never just about production or progress—it’s about relationships, responsibility, and rhythm. It’s about honoring the past, celebrating the present, and preparing the way for the future.

Thank you for being part of our journey this year. Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or just found us recently, we’re grateful for your trust, your support, and your shared commitment to doing things the right way.

Here’s to another year of growing, learning, and nurturing life—on the ranch and beyond. 🌾💚
