Lady and The Tramp Pasta

Nothing says romantic dinner like a homemade marinara pasta. Enjoy the Italian burst of flavor blended with the smooth creamy texture of the cheesy marinara sauce. If you're dreaming of the perfect Italian dinner, then try this one!

Directions

Lady's Seasoning:

  • 1 TBSP granulated garlic
  • 2 TBSP Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 TBSP ground fennel seed
  • 2 TBSP Himalayan pink salt
  • 1 TBSP dried minced onion

Meatballs:

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 cup organic rolled oats
  • 1/8 cup bell pepper, finely minced
  • 1/2 onion, finely minced
  • 2 TBSP butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup whole milk  

Marinara Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup onion, finely diced       
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, finely diced (optional)  
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, Minced           
  • 2 cups organic marinara sauce                    
  • 8 oz. cream cheese

Follow box instructions to cook:

  •  1 Box Organic Quinoa Pasta 

Instructions:

Mix the Lady's Seasoning together and store in a glass jar in a cool place. In a medium bowl mix together ground beef, oats, pepper, onion, butter, milk, and 1 TBSP Lady's Seasoning until well combined. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Form into fairly small meatballs and place them into a greased baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes. 

While they're baking saute the onion, mushroom and garlic until el dente. Add in marinara sauce and bring to a boil. Add Lady's Seasoning and salt to taste. Add in cooked meatballs and simmer for 10 minutes. 

Add in Cream Cheese and stir to melt. Remove from heat and toss over cooked quinoa pasta. Top with fresh basil and grated organic Parmesan cheese!
