Perfect Savory Brisket

Ingredients
- (1/4 Tsp.) Organic Granulated Garlic
- (1/8 Tsp.) Organic Smoked Paprika
- (2 Tbsp.) Organic Minced Onion Flakes
- (2 Tbsp.) Bragg's Liquid Amino
- (1/2 Tsp.) Himalayn Pink Salt
- (1 to 2 Tsp) Organic Corn Starch for Au Jus
- (1-3 Tsp.) Water for Au Jus
- (2.5 Lbs.) K Creek Ranch 100% Grass-fed Brisket
Directions
If you are like me; and you forget to take something out here is what I love to do.
Take a frozen brisket, place in baking dish, rub seasoning mix on entire brisket and put in the oven for 15 minutes to brown.
After Brisket is beautifully browned, place brisket in crock pot on low. Take the baking dish and add 1 cup water to loosen the baked on flavors and add to crock pot.
Cook until a butter knife easily penetrates the meat. Timing will vary based on if brisket is frozen or thawed, and size of brisket.
When ready to serve, strain the juices in crock pot into small sauce pan and thicken with organic corn starch slurry just enough to make slightly thick for Au Jus.
Slurry for Au Jus:
Mix 1 to 3 Tsp of corn starch with 1/2 cup water. For small amount of liquid use 1 tsp. for larger amount use up to 3. Add in slowly to boiling liquid until Au Jus is just starting to thicken. Boil another minute. Enjoy!
