Savory Beef Brisket
Creativity in the kitchen is what makes an eating experience so memorable. By taking basic cuts of meat, like the brisket, and preparing it in an nontraditional way you will be creating a whole new world of culinary possibilities. The perfect parring of the seasoning mix, produce, and grass fed beef will have you singing from the roof tops! If you have never tried savory beef brisket I recommend that you start now!

Directions

SAVORY SEASONING:

  • 1 TBSP Granulated Garlic
  • 2 TBSP Dried Basil
  • 2 TBSP Dried Parsley
  • 2 TBSP Himalayan Pink Salt
  • 1 tsp Chipotle Powder
  • 1 TBSP Dried Minced Onion

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2-3 LB Beef Brisket
  • 2 Cups Eggplant, Cubed
  • 1 Medium Bell Pepper, Minced
  • 1 Onion, Minced
  • 1/2 Cup Mushrooms, Sliced
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, Minced
  • 1 Medium Tomato, Cubed
  • 2 Cups Beef Bone Broth

Cut Beef Brisket against the grain in slices and sprinkle with the savory seasoning. Set aside while processing your vegetables. (optional: let brisket sit in the fridge  24 to 48 hours dry rubbed with the savory seasoning.)   Place skillet onto stove top over medium high heat with 4 TBSP coconut oil in the pan. When hot start frying the brisket, when the brisket is a nice golden brown add peppers, mushrooms, and onions and saute for 2 minutes approximately. Add in the cubed eggplant and continue sauteing until the eggplant is tender, add in tomatoes and bone broth and let simmer for 30 minutes.

Best if served with a nice salad or on a bed of fried sprouted rice!  Enjoy
