Have you ever heard the saying “I’m sweating like a pig”?

There is nothing factual about this saying, it is simply used because everyone knows what the saying is meant to imply. The truth of the matter is, pigs don’t sweat…at all! Because pigs don’t sweat they need to come up with other ways of keeping cool in the summer heat. That is the reason that pigs spend time wallowing in the mud. Not only does the cool wet mud bring their body temperature down it also creates a barrier between the sun and their skin, acting as a natural sunscreen.
So the next time you’re friend says “I’m sweating like a pig”…you can picture them rolling around in a slew of mud!
